The Wilmington Jaycees is a leadership development, community service, and social organization for people between the ages of 21 and 40 in and around the Wilmington, Delaware area.
In an environment that fosters true friendship, our mission is to provide our members the best opportunities for business development, management, leadership and individual training, community service, and international connections.
Are you interested in bartending? The housing committee needs you. We are in search of a few good bartenders. The Jaycee Hall is rented out on a regular basis and we need a representative of our organization present at all functions. Some events have alcohol present and others do not. For events with alcohol you must hold your Delaware Server License. It is a free program offered by the state. The classes are normally held on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:00 pm in the state building. Additional information about the program including a class schedule can be found at http://dabcte.state.de.us/dabcpublic/educational_resources.html. For events without alcohol you do not need to hold your server license. If you are interested in (or have any friends who are) bartending, please contact Chris Bell, cbbmw@comast.net, to be put on the list of available bartenders. |
