Christmas Parade - 2009

The 46^th Annual Wilmington Jaycees Christmas Parade can be seen on the following days and times:

On Comcast Channel 22 (WITN in the City of Wilmington limits) beginning Wednesday December 2, 2009 and running through Friday December 11, 2009 at 8 a.m., 11 a.m., and 9 p.m.

On Comcast Channel 190 (should be most of New Castle County) on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m., and Sunday,  Dec. 13 at 4 p.m.

The Wilmington Jaycees thank WITN and Comcast for their assistance in making this possible.

Thanks to all who helped make the 46^th Annual Wilmington Jaycees Christmas Parade a successful event. While we were a little worried about the weather going into the day, mother nature didn’t rain on us and instead gave us a nice, albeit windy, day. We had a great grand marshal in Aubrey Plaza and a charming special guest in Emmanuel Savary. The four marching bands and two string bands entertained the crowds as did the various community groups from the area. Of course, the star of the show was Santa who all the children looked forward to seeing.  Whether you played a small or large role, your involvement was important and appreciated.  Thanks again!
