welcome
to
join
the
community
development
committee
and/or
the
individual
development
committee.
Joining
a
commitee
is
an
excellent
opportunity
for
members
to
have
a
voice
in
choosing
the
activities
of
the
Chapter.
This
commitee
meeting
will
survey
the
upcoming
community
and
individual
development
events
for
2012,
but
more
importantly,
it
will
be
an
opportunity
for
commitee
members
to
select
what
projects
they
would
like
to
run
and/or
suggest
possible
new
projects
and
events
for
2012.
Even
if
you
are
not
yet
ready
to
run
a
project,
you
are
still
welcome
to
join
a
commitee
to
learn
more
about
upcoming
events
and
share
your
sugges:ons
for
new
events.

Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian

For 70 years, the Wilmington Jaycees have honored individuals in our community who have gone to extraordinary means to better themselves and the community. The Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian (OYW) award recognizes exceptional achievements or contributions in a nominee's chosen field, organization, community, state, or nation. We will be awarding the 2012 Outstanding Young Wilmingtonian at our regularly scheduled Wilmington Jaycees membership meeting on February 15. If you know someone between the ages of 21 and 40 who has made great contributions to our community and would like to nominate them by January 22, please contact Kelly Henley at henley.kelly@gmail.com.
