4 - (Sat)	July 4th Dinner and Fireworks - 6 p.m. - Instead of a First Friday dinner in July, we will be have a First Saturday to celebrate July 4th with dinner and fireworks at Iron Hill on the Wilmington Riverfront. This is open to all Delaware Jaycees and guests. Please email Bob Chessick at bobchessick@hotmail.com if you would like to attend.
8 - (Wed)	Membership Development Committee Meeting - 7 p.m. - Are you interested in helping the board come up with new membership ideas? Than make sure to come out to the Membership Development Committee Meeting at Iron Hill Brewery on the Wilmington Riverfront. Please contact Janet Dougherty at ladyluckjan@yahoo.com to attend the meeting or for more information.
9 - (Thu)	CityLife Block Party Series - Once again the Wilmington Renaissance Corporation has asked us to volunteer for their block party series. We need volunteers to help out with beer pouring, working the membership table setup and cleanup. We will also be selling water and soda as a fundraiser for our chapter. Please contact Chris Bell at cbbmw@comcast.net for more information or to volunteer.
15 - (Wed)	Membership Meeting - 7:30 p.m. - Larry Lee will be giving us tips on new mortgage rules and current tax credits. Come out and get this great training, and catch up with your Jaycees friends. Pre-Meeting social will begin at 7:15pm at the Wilmington Jaycees Clubhouse.
18 - (Sat)	3rd annual Taylor Luau - 5 p.m. - Jeff and Nicole Taylor will be hosting their 3rd Annual Luau Party at their home in West Deptford, N.J. A $5 cover charge includes food, drinks, alcohol, and fun! Activities include pool party and horse shoe pit! Wear your swim suit and bring a side dish to share! Please RSVP by Friday, July 10th to Jeff Taylor at roadnut@comcast.net. Open to Jaycees. Adults only.

8 - (Sat)	Ronald McDonald House Baking Day - We are on the schedule at Ronald McDonald House to bake up a storm! There are many families that are staying at the house that don’t have time to make their meals, so the house provides for them. But of course they need dessert too! More information will be sent out for this event soon.
13 - (Thu)	Wilmington Blue Rocks game - 6:45 p.m. - Come out and see Mr. Celery with us at the Wilmington Blue Rocks game. General admission tickets are $6 and it’s a Fireworks night! Contact Laura Thierer at cyschem@hotmail.com if you want to come out.
19 - (Wed)	Membership Meeting at 7:30 pm
21 - 23 (Fri - Sun)	Cole Bros. Circus - Save the date for this important event. The Circus is our chapter’s biggest fundraiser of the year. All members should do their best to volunteer at some point over the three days. More information will be sent out closer to the event.

12 - (Sat)	Delaware Jaycees Beef and Beer - President John will be visiting Delaware on the weekend of September 12^th. We will be having many activities that weekend so keep your schedule free. We will also be having a state Beef and Beer; Kelly Kershaw is the chair and is looking for committee members. 24 - 27 (Thu - Sun)	U.S. Jaycees Annual Meeting - The 89th Annual Meeting of the U.S. Junior Chamber will be held in Orlando , Fla. Expect lots of parties, opening Ceremonies on a pirate ship, and the always-elegant 71st Annual TOYA Awards Ceremony will be held at the host resort. Other activities include Professional Development Training, Jaycee Training, Mid-Year Competitions, and Mid-Year Awards. Be sure to mark your calendar now for this amazing conference! TBA	Brew Review - Do you like trying out new beers? Do you want to get some great experience by running a project? Then we are looking for you. The Brew Review has been our best fund raiser for The Thanksgiving Basket project for the past 3 years.
